The latest generation Colnago C series is here, and it's beautiful.
The new Colnago C68 brings with it a lot of new features, a new design, and interesting technologies, but first of all, this is a beautiful bike and it does not disappoint.

It's modern, improved in many ways, technologically advanced, and as tradition dictates, built exclusively in Cambiago at the headquarters of Colnago.
For Colnago, the C series has a special and well-defined meaning. The new Colnago C68 embodies all the values dearest to the founder, a man of reference within Italian cycling for over 60 years.
The Colnago C series is a bike for the true enthusiast, seeking performance but also looking for something more. An elegant aesthetic, confident road manners and the pleasure of owning an authentic Italian-made product. In a single word, an icon.

The new construction process The C68 is still built by hand and with a lugged construction, but the Cambiago technicians have revolutionized the fabrication process. Now some important lugs remain hidden, flush, without any noticeable grafts, offering a more minimalist appearance in line with the current style. But the advantages are above all on a technical level, resulting in a lighter and stiffer frame. A raw frame now weighs about 930g in size 51, a weight saving of 80g compared to the C64.
SIZES, GEOMETRIES AND COLORS
The new production process also introduces a new size chart with revised and optimized geometries based on the improved mechanical characteristics of the model. The road version offers 7 sizes combined with 16 combinations of stem length / handlebar width of the new cockpit design called CC.01. Please note that it will also be possible to combine stem and handlebars from other manufacturers if necessary or preferred.

There are four colors available for 2022, three of which are colors that are historically matched to the Colnago C series.
HRBK: Matt black with glossy black and grey/blue details
HRRD: Matte Black with red details in two different shades
HRWH: Matt Black with Glossy White and Grey/Blue details
We also have a more particular colourway, the one chosen for the presentation, the HRWB. A glossy white that shows off the redesigned Colnago logo on the down tube, embellished with petrol blue details and gold trim.

It is worth mentioning that on all the colors there is a tricolor on the seat tube, also a reference to the tradition of the C series and a clear indicator of a 100% Italian production.
The new Colnago CC.01 Integrated Handlebar Alongside the launch of the new C68, Colnago have released a new integrated handlebar, the CC.01. Made from a single piece, monocoque construction, the CC.01 is rigid and lightweight making it the perfect companion for the C68. In addition to the clever design and technical features, the CC.01 has been created to guarantee the widest possible range of options for a precise fit. There are 16 combinations of sizes available.

The stem length starts from 80mm and goes up to 140mm. For handlebar width, it is important to note that the measurements are not typical, using odd sizes instead of the more traditional even ones. The shape of each handlebar includes a small 2cm flare at the drops. Therefore a 41cm measured at the levers will have a width of 43cm at the drops.

Technical details of the C68 frame
The new C68 comes with a T47 threaded bottom bracket to replace the previous T45 standard typical on Colnago frames.
The frame is supplied with a CeramicSpeed SLT (Solid Lubrication Technology) headset with a lifetime warranty.
For the new C68, internal cable routing is further optimized featuring a revised and optimized fork.
To combat the problem of counterfeiting, Colnago has introduced Blockchain technology, putting an end to the presence of fake frames on the market.

Blockchain technology, now counterfeiting is impossible
Each new C68 frame will be equipped with an NFC transmitter, which does not require power to work, that will contain important information about the frame as well as certification of its authenticity.
Moreover, thanks to this technology, it will also be possible to match the details of its owner to a specific frame.
Thanks to this new technology it is impossible to counterfeit the frame.

A version with titanium lugs
We have saved the best for last. The new C68 will also be available in an exclusive version with 3D printed titanium lugs. Thanks to the flexibility of 3D printing, the lugs will be adapted for each individual custom frame. An exclusive process intended for no more than 300 frames per year, at least for the first year of production. This version is offered in a dedicated and very exclusive colorway (code HTBK).
