Instead of distinct zones with different tread patterns, the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eslick tread transitions seamlessly into the side knobs\u003c\/strong\u003e, for better and more predictable grip as the bike leans into corners. The first row of side knobs is\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eanchored on the center tread\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eto stiffen the knobs for superior traction under extreme power—important when you sprint or climb out of the saddle and rock the bike from side to side.
