TWH Chronicles: Colnago Master — The Mapei Edition
"Find me the frame and make it usable in 2025, no down tube shifters, but make it look classic."
A true icon of cycling. This client asked The Wheelhouse to find an absolute legend: the Colnago Master in the legendary Mapei Edition colorway. If you know, you know. We couldn't be more proud of how this build turned out, seamlessly blending the golden era of cycling with modern rideability.
Campagnolo Centaur Mechanical
In a day when everyone's groupset is black and highly technical, Campagnolo kept one absolute gem in their lineup: the Centaur mechanical groupset in all-out silver. It provides the crisp, modern shifting required for riding in 2025 without the need for down tube shifters, while perfectly maintaining the classic aesthetic the Master demands.
Curated Perfection
We didn't stop at the groupset. We went to work matching it with Campagnolo bar ends and a stem cap. The Silca silver titanium bottle cages fit the aesthetic flawlessly, and the picture-perfect Deda cockpit — yes, in all silver as well — completes the front end. To tie the entire masterpiece together, we tossed on a set of cream side-walled Vredestein Superiore tires. Oh my lord... we did it.
