The G4-X is the result of optimizing all those factors that are important when you have to compete or go hard on dirt roads: handling, lightness, downhill rideability, stability, frame responsiveness, and, like all Colnago bikes, surprisingly wonderful to ride.

The G4-X is a racing-derived bike, a very close relative of the V4Rs used by Pogačar and co. in the World Tour. It is a carbon monocoque, as stiff, responsive and light as it is balanced and fun to ride. It is the model designed by Colnago for the fast gravel rider, for those who compete and go out on dirt roads in search of maximum performance.
Colnago for gravel racing

The G4-X is the new Colnago designed for gravel racing. This model is intended to replace the G3-X, bringing back the best of what the Cambiago-based brand has learned in its important and storied experience in off-road on cyclocross and, in road racing, with the V-Series bikes, the carbon monocoque bikes made for the UAE Emirates and UAE ADQ WorldTour Teams.

The Colnago G4-X, despite being born for fast gravel, is a frame that is also homologated and approved by the UCI as a Cyclocross frame. This renews Colnago's presence on the cyclocross stage, where it was previously present with the G3-X, used for example by Silvia Persico and Ryan Kamp.
