Description
xPRODUCT OVERVIEW: SRM X-POWER DIRECT ROAD PEDALS (GREY)
Key Innovation & Fit Warning
- 6mm Lower Stack Height: The pedal body elongates to position the cleat attachment mechanism behind the primary shoe contact surface rather than directly under it. This allows a massive 6mm reduction in space between your shoe and the axle relative to standard Shimano setups.
- Important Setup Step: Because of this unique geometry, you must lower your saddle height by exactly 6mm when installing these pedals to maintain your proper bike fit.
- Shoe Compatibility: These pedals are designed specifically to integrate with the Q36.5 Unique Pro 4.0 road shoe (the first shoe offering native compatibility with this direct road system).
Core Technical Specifications
- Material: Forged 7057 aluminium pedal bodies.
- Weight: 254 grams per pair (highly competitive—nearly identical to Shimano Dura-Ace at 252g).
- Q-Factor: 54 mm.
- Cleats Included: Proprietary cleats with a 1.2° angular float.
- Contact Surface: Expanded to 1,653 mm² for exceptional structural stability under power.
Power Meter Performance
- Accuracy: Verified power tracking within +/- 2.0%.
- Battery Life: Up to 30 hours of continuous ride time.
- Charging: Fully rechargeable via a magnetic charging cable interface.
- Connectivity: Simultaneous dual-band ANT+ and Bluetooth smart transmission to sync with bike computers and smartphones.
- Spindle Engineering: All electronic processing components and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are sealed directly inside the rugged steel pedal axle to shield them completely from moisture, dust, and crash impacts.
