Partington R-Series FAQ

How are the new R-Series wheels built?
Both models use Partington’s integrated Performance is a System approach. The 23 mm internal and 34 mm external AERON rims are hooked, tubeless-ready and sealed so rim tape is not required. PERFORM hubs use floating-bearing architecture, while 18 front and 21 rear FLEXON carbon spokes are individually replaceable and truable.

What changes with Performance Ti?
Performance uses a silver-anodized hub, steel bearings, a steel ratchet system and steel spoke pins and inserts. Performance Ti uses a black-anodized hub, ceramic bearings, titanium ratchet components and titanium spoke pins and inserts. It is approximately 25 g lighter in equivalent depths.

Which rim depth should you choose?
Choose 50/50 for the lowest weight and balanced crosswind handling on climbing, rolling terrain or technical courses. Choose 50/65 for a stable front wheel with added rear-wheel aerodynamic depth. Choose 65/65 for maximum aerodynamic performance on open roads, flatter courses and time trials.

What does the Partington warranty cover?
The non-transferable two-year warranty covers material and manufacturing defects for the original purchaser from the retail purchase date. Registration at purchase is required. Accepted defects are repaired or replaced at no cost; normal wear, accidental or transit damage, improper handling, unauthorized modifications and outside repairs are excluded.

How does crash replacement work?
For an eligible registered R-Series wheel or wheelset purchased by the original owner from an authorized Partington retailer on or after June 1, 2026: Year 1 provides a qualifying repair or replacement free; Year 2 is 50% off MSRP; Year 3 is 40% off; Year 4 is 30% off; and Year 5 is 20% off. Partington decides whether to repair or replace.

What is not covered by crash replacement?
Shipping, duties, tariffs and handling remain the owner’s responsibility. Wear and tear, transport damage and incidents on unpaved or gravel roads are excluded. The program may be used once per original purchase and does not restart for a repaired or replacement wheel.

What should you do after a crash?
Stop riding immediately and contact The Wheelhouse for assessment and claim coordination.
