We are ready to launch a new cycling destination! SPAIN!
Mallorca is well known as one of the best destinations in the world for road cycling, with perfect road surfaces, variable terrain and warm year round weather that has attracted many cyclists. It will be eight (8) incredible days, during which we will ride and eat tapas together.
This camp will follow routes along the coast and into the mountains. We will explore the delightful interior of the island with quiet country lanes, beautifully framed by dry stone walls with fantastic views of orchards, olive groves and pine forests.
Cyclists will be split into groups based on their level of
preparation. A support vehicle will always be nearby in order to give
mechanical assistance and supplies.
RIDING
Mallorca has long been known as a paradise for cycling thanks to its spectacular coastal and mountain scenery, charming villages and a wide variety of quiet roads.
On this camp we will explore the beauty of the island. We will ride the best known routes, including Cap de Formentor and Sa Calobra, while discovering some less well known, but equally stunning rides.
To start, Sa Calobra is probably the most famous cycling climb in Mallorca. Its iconic snaking bends, superb road surface and incredible views make it a magnet for cyclists who wish to challenge themselves. It is one of the more challenging climbs on the island and is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable to ride.
Perhaps the only route to rival Sa Calobra in terms of popularity and fame is Cap de Formentor. This is an incredibly spectacular ride along the peninsula of the most northern tip of Mallorca. The route begins from the town of Port Pollensa and continues for nineteen undulating kilometres until you reach a lighthouse at the end of the road.
ACCOMMODATIONS
We couldn't come to the enchanting island of Mallorca and not indulge in the ultimate Mediterranean experience without our own private finka. Our accommodations offer a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. Nestled amidst lush gardens and proximity to the sea, this finka promises an unforgettable home base for our cycling camp.
The finka features a spacious and elegantly furnished living room, perfect for breaking down the day's ride with other cyclists. An open-floor layout seamlessly connects the living area with the dining room and with a fully equipped, modern kitchen, making it an ideal space for socializing and dining.
Step outside and discover the villa's outdoor private pool, inviting you to take refreshing dips while lounging on comfortable sunbeds. The manicured gardens, shaded terraces, and an alfresco dining area create an idyllic setting for enjoying meals under the Mallorcan sun and stars.

BIKE OPTIONS
Bring Your Own
If you prefer to bring your own bike, The Wheelhouse will service and pack your bike at least 3 days before your departure. A thorough inspection and wash is included in your camp package. If any mechanic parts will be needed, it will be mentioned and budgeted to you beforehand. If you require a bike bag for your trip, we'd gladly rent one to you on request. Please let us know if you will be flying with your bike or shipping your bike.
