Sarto Bikes in Canada — custom Italian carbon, fitted in Calgary

The Wheelhouse sells and fits Sarto in Canada. Sarto have been building carbon frames by hand in Pianiga, in the Veneto region of Italy, for over fifty years. For much of that time they built frames for other people's brands. Today they build only for the rider who orders one.

Why Sarto is different

Sarto build tube-to-tube: each tube is cut, mitred and joined by hand, then wrapped. That is slower and more labour-intensive than moulding a frame in one piece, and it is the reason a Sarto can be built to geometry that no mould would ever justify. It is also why Sarto can tune the lay-up to a rider's weight and power rather than to an average.

The consequence for you: your position comes first and the frame is built around it. Not the other way round.

Sarto models we sell in Canada

Sarto Cima

The climbing frame. Tube-to-tube carbon, tuned for low weight and sharp response. Available with standard or custom geometry and clearance for wider rubber. The Cima is the frame most riders name when they call us.

Sarto Raso

The all-round race frame, and the one Sarto is best known for. Available in the TC finish. Stiff enough to race, composed enough to ride all day.

Sarto Seta Plus and Seta Gravel

The endurance and gravel side of the range. Same handmade construction, geometry and clearance built for distance and mixed surfaces.

Sarto Gravel TA Plus

Sarto's gravel platform with the clearance and mounting you need for real mixed-terrain riding.

Buying Sarto from The Wheelhouse rather than importing

  1. We fit you first. An IDMatch 3D bike fit produces the numbers Sarto build to. If you skip this, you have bought an expensive frame in someone else's size.
  2. Canadian pricing and support. Import, duty and warranty handling are ours. You are not shipping a frame back to Italy on your own.
  3. You can see the work. Come to Marda Loop and look at the tube joints and the paint in person before you commit.
